PURPOSE:To stabilize the operation, by compensating for the non-linear error in the output with respect to applied pressure of a shearing type gauge. CONSTITUTION:A normal type gauge 18, a diffusion resistance 26 with the resistance value immune to pressure, power source ends 19 and 20 of a shearing type gauge 17 are connected in series between the output end of an amplifier Q3 and a common potential point COM. A fixed voltage of +V or -V is applied to the power source end of the amplifier Q3 while the voltage of -V and the voltage at the output end are applied to the inversion input terminal (-) thereof once divided with resistances 27 and 28 and the non-inversion input terminal (+) is connected to the COM to obtain a voltage VS at the output terminal. An output voltage VP corresponding to an applied voltage P is generated at output terminals 22 and 23 of the gauge 17 and amplified with a differential amplifier Q4 under a negative feedback, the output of which is further amplified Q5 to obtain the output voltage V0 between the output terminal 29 of a converter section and the COM. Then, the non-linearity of the gauge 17 is compensated for at a rate of changes in the resistance with respect to the pressure P between the series resistance values of the gauge 18, the resistance 26 and the gauge 17 and the resistance value of the gauge 18. |
