CONSTITUTION:A mixture of enantiomorph of alpha-chloropropionic acid shown by the formula [A is O, or N; S is R is (substituted)aromatic group, cycloalkyl, or alkyl; * is asymmetic carbon atom] such as alpha-chloropropionic acid anilide, etc. is subjected to optical resolution by liquid chromatography having adsorbed a resolving agent comprising a polysaccharide or its derivative as an active ingredient, preferably supported on a carrier. Any of synthetic polysaccharide, naturally occurring polysaccharide and modified naturally occurring polysaccha ride may be used as the polysaccharide, optically active homoglycan having high regularity is preferable, and cellulose tribenzoate, cellulose triacetate, etc., having fixed bond style are preferable. EFFECT:Analysis of optical purity can be performed simply and accurately.
