PURPOSE:To improve a sound damping effect with simple equipment, by setting up a main stream guide pipe in a submerged part, while constituting it so as to discharge air out of an air feed pipe into the water tank in the main stream guide pipe with forward movement of a ship. CONSTITUTION:A large quantity of seawater W is taken in from opening parts 5 and 5A of main stream guides 7 and 7A with forward movement of a ship 1 and then this seawater W is discharged out of discharge poerts 6 and 6A. At this time, since suction pressure is being produced in a tip end of a nozzle 13 or a nozzle part 13A, air A out of air feed pipes 8 and 8A is discharged out in minute air bubble form due to action of this suction pressure. The seawater W mixed with these air bubbles, namely, an air bubble steam A' is diffused in the seawater where a noise generating source of a propeller 2 or the like at the rear of the ship 1 exists, thus it brings its a sound damping effect into full play. Therefore, energy producing the air bubble stream A' and another energy for driving this air bubble stream A' far distant both are securable with forward movement of the ship 1 so that any other additional equipment such as a high pressure pump or the like is no longer required, thus this device is very simple in structure. |
