PURPOSE:To effectively use the peripheral space of an image formation apparatus by disposing a recording medium stacking means capable of moving horizontally below a feed-out port for feeding out a recorded recording medium to the outside. CONSTITUTION:A stacker for storing recorded recording paper is disposed below a feed-out port of a paper feed unit 300. At installation, a fixing portion 750 of the stacker is advanced in a groove 722 and turned in a 90 deg. are to be fixed,and a contact portion of the stacker 700 is engaged with rails 710. In such a condition, the stacker 700 can be moved back and forth, so that when the stacker is not used, the stacker 700 can be stored below the paper feed unit 300. At the time of using the stacker, a support arm 701 is brought into contact with the front surface of the paper feed unit 300 to set a guide member 702 at a designated position. Thus, the space in the periphery of an image formation apparatus can be utilized effectively.
