PURPOSE:To attain the accurate and easy control of a traveling object by providing an AC power supply detector for detection of an AC power supply set at a ceiling above a drive path and using this power supply as a guide mark. CONSTITUTION:A traveling object 1 contains a controller 3 and a driver 4 within its body 2 (truck). The driver 4 is controlled by the controller 3 incorporating a computer and drives the wheels 5. Thus the object 1 is driven on a floor 6. Here an AC power supply 8 set at the ceiling is used as a land mark. The power supply 8 uses a fluorescent lamp 12, etc. The various types of information can be stored in the lamp 12 with addition of marks like bar codes, etc. Then an AC power supply detector 7 of the object 1 detects the lamp 12 and the controller 3 calculates a steering angle according to a program, etc. and controls the driver 4. Thus the object 1 is driven with control at a corner of a passageway, etc. |
