CHARACTER MULTIPLEX BROADCASTING RECEIVER

摘要

PURPOSE:To display instantly the program of a table of contents when the receiving of the program of the table of contents is indicated by providing a data memory for fetch-only of the program of the table of contents. CONSTITUTION:A multiplexed character in a vertical blanking period is sampled at a character signal sampling part 1 and a program data that is indicated at a key inputting part 2 is fetched in to a data memory 4. The fetched-in data is converted to a picture element data at a data processing part 5 and is displayed at a display device 8 through a frame memory 6. In a character broadcasting receiver constituted in such a way, a data memory 10 for fetch-only of the program of the table of contents is provided in addition other than the data memory 4 provided normally. The data memory 10 stores an arriving program of the table of contents and reads and displays a program of the table of contents data at the display device 8 when the indication of the program of the table of contents is executed at the key inputting part 2.
