PURPOSE:To transfer efficiently a digital signal without direct discrimination of the content of announcement by supervising a reproduced output of the announcement and using the presence or absence of a lead-in signal obtained when a prescribed sound recorded part is detected so as to discriminate easily whether the reproduction of a tape is continued or stopped. CONSTITUTION:The announcement recorded on the 1st track of a magnetic tape is reproduced by the 1st reproducing head 1, the digital signal sound recorded on the 2nd track is detected by the 2nd reproducing head 2 and reproduced into a digital signal by a reproducing means 6. An output of the 1st reproducing head 1 is amplified by an amplifier means 4 and announced from a sounding body 5 such as a speaker and after a discriminating means 7 detects a prescribed sound recorded part from the output of the 1st reproducing head 1, the lead-in signal of the digital signal such as a program or a data is detected from the output of the means 6 so as to designate the reproducing or stopping state of the magnetic tape.
