PURPOSE:To perform color painting easily and quickly by giving a direction code label to input contour data and extracting both horizontal and vertical color painting areas according to each label. CONSTITUTION:When the inside of a part enclosed by the contour data is painted in a color, no color is painted in the scanning direction X1 since the data on a label (8) is delivered first. In the case of the scanning direction X2, the data on a label (1) is detected first and then a white circle mark W2L is detected. Thus the color painting job is started at this point W2L. In the same way, points W3L-W7L are defined as the start points for color painting for scanning directions X3-X7 respectively. While the ending point of painting is decided as follows. That is, scanning is carried out in the right direction from the point W2L with the direction X2 and reaches the data on either one of direction codes (5), (6), (7) and (8), and a white circle exists at the position ahead of said data by a step. In such a case, this white circle is decided as the ending point of color painting. While a white circle point W2r exists at a position preceding the label (6) by one step in the case of the direction X2. Thus the point W2r is defined as the ending point of color painting. |
