PURPOSE:To reduce a feeling of physical disorder when the sum signal and difference signal of right and left 2-channel stereo signals are switched to each other, by gradually replacing the sum signal and difference signal one with another. CONSTITUTION:Only difference signals (L-R) are outputted to the output terminal 20 of an operational amplifier 13. When a switch 16 is switched to a contact (b) side under this state, another switch 17 is automatically switched to a contact (a) side and a fader 14 fades out and another fader 15 fades in. The output of the fader 14 gradually decreases and the output of the other fader 15 gradually increases. As a result, the signal of the terminal 20 gradually shifts from the difference signals (L-R) to sum signals (L+R) and, when the operations of the faders 14 and 15 complete, only sum signals are outputted to the output terminal 20. On the contrary, when the switch 16 is again connected to another contact (a) side, signals at the terminal 20 gradually shift from the sum signals to the difference signals following the same operation priciple. Therefore, a feeling of physical disorder felt when the switching between the sum signals and difference signals is performed can be reduced. |
