PURPOSE:To obtain an optic axis correcting device of an objective lens that does not cause backlash and deviation by providing a pressing device that is separable from a base stand and an angle adjusting device provided between the base stand and base body and adjusts angle of the base stand to the base body. CONSTITUTION:When both or one of screws 37a, 37b is loosened, pressing devices 31a, 31b are separated from the peripheral wall 45 of the base stand 19, and accordingly, the base stand 19 is released from restraint by pressing devices 31a, 31b and becomes possible to oscillate. Under this condition, adjusting screws 33a, 33b are turned properly, and the base stand 19 is tilted to the base body 21 to correct the optical axis of an objective lens. When adjusting screws 33a, 33b are turned, length l1, l2 of legs of adjusting screws 33a, 33b changes and the base stand 19 is tilted properly by above-mentioned change and action of a spring 49. As adjusting of angle of the base stand 19 is made by adjusting screws 33a, 33b, delicate angle adjustment is possible, and at the same time, when the peripheral wall 45 of the base stand 19 is pressed by pressing devices 31a, 31b, the two come into contact without gap. Thus, backlash and deviation do not occur after adjustment.
