Producing heat-insulating textile prod. using flexible carrier - with affixed fibre layer by doubling with fibre ends in mutual contacts and connecting perimeter edges

The method is used for producing a heat-insulating textile prod. comprising a flexible carrier with a layer of heat-insulating fibres affixed to it. Two carriers with fibres are superimposed such that the ends of the fibres are in mutual contact after which the perimeter edges of the carriers are secured together. - One fibre-covered carrier may be folded double and the remaining perimeter edges secured together e.g. by stitching, adhesive or welding. The carrier may be woven textile material, paper, plastic, etc. The fibres may consist of a fibre web arran-ged on the carrier as zig-zag folds and affixed to it.
