PURPOSE:To achieve quickly stabilized characteristic of outlet hot-water temperature by a method wherein first control series, outputting a signal proportional to a value obtained by a specified formula by utilizing a set temperature, an inlet water temperature, an outlet hot-water temperature and the amount of water, and second control series, outputting the amount of feedback, are provided in the system to control the regulation of flow amount of fuel. CONSTITUTION:The value F1 of the first control series is calculated by the formula (1). Here: F1; a value proportional to the necessary amount of heat, W; amount of water, Ts; inlet water temperature and K; a constant. The value, calculated by the formula (2) is inputted into the second control series. The value To in the formula is the outlet hot-water temperature detected by an outlet hot-water temperature detector 5. The amount of feedback B2 is outputted based on the value B1. When the amount of change per unit time of the value F1, obtained by the formula (1), is higher than some value, the output of the second control series is brought to B2=0 within a predetermined time from the change of the value F1 and the opening degree of the fuel flow amount regulating valve 8 is regulated by only the value F2 outputted from the first control series. The same of the valve 8 is regulated by both of signals F2, B2 after the predetermined time has elapsed to control the outlet hot-water temperature so as to reach the value equal to the set temperature.
