发明名称 HIGH STRENGTH ALUMINUM ALLOY FOR WELDING CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL EXCELLING IN EXTRUDABILITY
摘要 PURPOSE:To improve extrudability as welding construction material by blending specific amounts of rare earth elements, Cu, Mn, Cr and Zr with an Al-high Zn-low Mg alloy. CONSTITUTION:The alloy has a composition consisting of, by weight, 4-12% Zn, 0.3-1.5% Mg, 0.5-10% of >=1 element among rare earths, and the balance Al with inevitable impurities and further containing, if necessary, >=1 kind among 0.05-2.0% Cu, 0.1-0.8% Mn, 0.05-0.30% Cr, and 0.05-0.25% Zr. As the rare earth elements to be incorporated, Y, La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm, etc., are suitable. Owing to the above composition, high strength and excellent extrudability as welding construction material are given and further an alloy excelling in stress corrosion cracking resistance can be provided without causing deterioration in weldability.
