PURPOSE:To obtain outlet hot-water, having a set temperature at all times, by providing an outlet hot-water temperature detector in the path of water, which is located at the downstream of a heat exchanger, to correct the amount of water based on the detected temperature of the detector. CONSTITUTION:A controller 15, setting the combustion capacity of gas burners by a plurality of gas burners 2a-2e, heating the heat exchanger 1, the detected amount of water, detected by a water amount detector 8 provided in the water path 7 communicated with the heat exchanger, and the set temperature, is provided to control a water control valve 9 provided in the water path 7 so as to obtain the amount of water, set by the combustion capacity and the set temperature. The outlet hot-water temperature detector 16 is provided in the water path in the downstream of the heat exchanger to correct the amount of water based on the detecting temperature of the detector. When a hot-water supplying cock 10 is opened and the amount of water is regulated, the amount of gas is determined, the gas burners 2a-2e are ignited, the amount of water, heated to the set temperature, is set by the amount of gas and the amount of water is regulated by a water control valve 9 so as to obtain the set amount of water. On the other hand, the outlet hot-water temperature is detected after a predetermined time whereby the amount of water is corrected and the outlet hot-water temperature may be controlled so as to have the set temperature.
