摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To prevent the interference with a thickness control system while preventing meandering and maintaining passing property and to execute effective shape control by calculating the optimum correction rate with respect to the draft correction rates on the driving side and operation side outputted by an automatic plat adjuster by shape detectors and meandering detectors. CONSTITUTION:The signals lambdaW, lambdaD, alpha corresponding to the shape and meandering of a strip 1 are outputted by the shape detectors 6, 7 and the meandering detectors 26, 27 and are inputted to a shape control device 11 when the strip 1 engages with work rolls 2, 3. The draft correction rates DELTASW', DELTASD' generated by the automatic thickness adjuster 28 are also inputted as the input quantity to the device 11. The meandering of the strip 1 generate by operating independently the manipulated variables on the WS side and SD side is thus suppressed and the shape correction control taking the asymmetry on the WS side and SD side relating to the shape into consideration is made possible without generating the interference with the operation of the automatic thickness adjusting system.</p>
