PURPOSE:To increase the text searching speed by adding the 1st gate means which connect vertically the internal signal holding means for adjacent rows for each column and the 2nd gate means which connect obliquely or horizontally those signal holding means for each three rows adjacent with each other. CONSTITUTION:An external signal memory means 110 is provided to store the external signals in the address designated by a symbol code together with the header signal holding means 120 set in response to each bit line, plural internal signal holding means which are arrayed in a matrix form with lines corresponding to the bit lines and the 1st gate means 141 which are controlled by the external signals read out of each bit line against the general symbol codes and connect vertically the internal signal holding means of adjacent lines for each column. In addition, the 2nd gate means 142 area provided to connect the internal signal holding means between adjacent columns obliquely or horizontally for each three rows adjacent with each other together with the internal signal supply means 125 which are controlled by the contents of the means 120 and set the internal signals to the internal signal holding means set at the end column of each row and the switch means 150 which deliver the contents of the internal signal holding means of the designated column for each fixed number of rows.
