PURPOSE:To increase treatment efficiency and to decrease the consumption of heat energy by spray-drying a liquid material and using one part of the liquid material as liquid for a binder in the period of granulation in case of performing the granulation. CONSTITUTION:While feeding hot air, a liquid material is injected to the inside of a spray dryer through a spray nozzle 4 to dry it and a produced powdery material is discharged through a takeout port 8 and introduced in a fluidized bed granulator 2. In the granulator, the above-mentioned powdery material is made to a fluidized state by blowing up the hot air through an air-hole plate 13 and one part of the liquid material is blown on the powdery material through a spray nozzle 16 to perform the granulation. Still more as necessary, a binder such as gum is mixed to the liquid material on the midway of a feed pipe 17. Thereby the amount to be treated in a spray drying process is decreased and the operation efficiency is increased and also the supply of the excess evaporation energy is eliminated because excess water is not added.
