PURPOSE:To obtain the titled material having sufficiently large max. concn. and sufficiently low min. concn. and a good developing property and also having a stable photographic performance against variations of a developing period and a composition of a developer by incorporating at least silver chloride in the silver halide particle, and by lessening a content of the silver halide contd. in an internal latent image type silver halide particle having a different mean particle size in the particle having a larger particle size than the mean particle size. CONSTITUTION:The silver halide particle is comprised at least silver chloride, and the content of the silver chloride contd. in the internal latent image type silver halide particle having the different mean particle size is lessened in the particle having the larger particle size than the mean particle size. Namely, the internal latent image type silver halide particle is the silver halide particle contg. the silver chloride. The silver chloride content is preferably 5-80mol%, further preferably, 10-70mol% on the mol basis of the total silver halide contd. in the particle. The silver halide particle may be contained <10mol% silver iodide. |
