PURPOSE:To attain restoration to talking even when a telephone changeover switch is turned on even if automatic reception is started because of forgotten switch setting or a communication error takes place. CONSTITUTION:A line switching section 3 switching a telephone line connected via an input terminal 1 to a telephone set 2 or a facsimile main body 6, a timer 9 connected to the facisimile main body 6, set to a reference time and measuring an elapsed time from a prescribed procedure time point and a telephone changeover switch 8 holding a telephone line when the measured value by the timer 9 is within a reference time, controlling the line switching section 2 to connect the telephone set 2 and the telephone line are provided. Thus, the line is switched to the telephone set side to attain talking by turning on the telephone changeover switch at the start of automatic reception or within a prescribed time from generation of communication error. |
