PURPOSE:The titled novel high polymer, consisting of specific constituent units, stable in air, having electric conductivity without doping, soluble in water and useful for primary batteries, secondary batteries, solar cells, photoconductive materials, etc. CONSTITUTION:A high polymer consisting of constituent units expressed by formula I, II or III. The above-mentioned high polymer may be obtained by, e.g. treating hydroxypyridine with phosphorus trifluoride or phosphorus pentafluoride and thermally polymerizing the resultant fluoropyridine. |
