PURPOSE:To prevent a step out which is caused possible at the time of power-on operation from occurring by indicating the detected value of a ship speed sensor after adjusting the indication of a synchro ship speed indicator with an adjusting value when the power source is turned on. CONSTITUTION:When the power source is turned on, a power-on signal (h) is inputted to a timer 3 and a switching element 6 is connected to the side of a synchro adjusting part 2. At the same time, the adjusting value is outputted from a step-out preventing part 4 to a synchro driving part 7 through the element 6. The driving part 7 computes a synchro voltage based upon the adjusting valve and outputs it to the synchro ship speed indicator 1 to position its pointer at the position of the adjusting value. Then, the preventing part 4 outputs an adjusting value of 0 deg. to the driving part 7. The driving part 7 sets the pointer of the indicator 1 to 0 deg.. Then, the element 6 is switched to the side of a ship speed arithmetic part 5 with a time-up signal from a timer 3. The arithmetic part 5 inputs the operation end signal (e) of the preventing part 4 to start arithmetic operation and then outputs a ship speed indication value calculated from the detected value (v) of the ship speed sensor to the driving part 7. The driving part 7 outputs a synchro voltage based upon the indication value to the indicator 1.
