PURPOSE:To provide the recording material excellent in coloration, raw shelf life and the stability of coloring picture, having the characteristics for preparing solution and meeting other conditions to be equipped with, by a method wherein not less than a specific amount of colorless dye is the colorless dye having polyoxyalkylene group. CONSTITUTION:The titled material is the recording material utilizing the phenomenon that when the colorless dye having polyoxyalkylene group comes in contact with the electron acceptable compound of other colorless dye, coloration is generated. The colorless dye having polyoxyalkylene group is used at least to occupy not less than 0.5% in all the colorless dye, preferably 0.5% and over to 95% incl., and further preferably 15% and over to 80% incl. Furthermore, the oxyalkylene unit of polyoxyalkylene group should preferably be not less than 2 and its upper limit is 15 level. Alkylene of 2 to 4 in carbon number is preferable as the alkylene. Further, its end should preferably be modified to alkyl ether, aryl ether or acyl. Unless the end hydroxy material is used by not more than 60% at most in the colorless dye, the improved effect of coloration can not sufficiently be obtained. |
