<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to perform grinding work even in the case of cutting blade dislocation by arranging respectively on both sides a device for keeping a grinding member by a preset distance apart from a cutting blade by means of a signal generated by the detection of contact of the grinding member against the cutting blade. CONSTITUTION:A cutting blade 10, going between grinding members 50a and 50b, is supported with a retractable swing arm 16. A spindle 14 is provided with a clutch 18, and a sensing member 24 for sensing the rotation of the cutting blade 10. The grinding members 50a and 50b are supported via spindles 52a and 52b on moving tables 54a and 54b both of which are independently slidable by means of a drive module on a slide rail 56. The grinding member 50a, when sensing the contact with the cutting blade 10, moves to produce a preset gap. By performing this movement independently on both sides, a gaps between the cutting blade and the grinding members 50a and 50b can be equalized. Then both of the grinding members can be simultaneously brought into contact with the cutting blade to perform the grinding work.</p> |
