PURPOSE:To prevent the cohesion of scale to a toilet drain pipe, by using a molded body prepared by using a solid acid as an effective component and containing a base material and other additives. CONSTITUTION:If necessary, a water soluble base material (e.g., polyethylene glycol or polypropylene glycol) and a base material having sublimability (e.g., p-dichlorobenzene or naphthalene) are mixed with a solid acid solid at ambient temp. such as sodium bisulfate, potassium bisulfate, ammonium bisulfate, boric acid or sulfamic acid and the mixture of the components is melted under heating to form a molten substance which is, in turn, injected in a mold to be cooled and solidified. The content of additives is set to 20-80wt% and the ratio of the water soluble base material is set to 10-60pts.wt. of 40-90pts. of the sublimable base material. The obtained molded body is provided in a purified water storage tank. By this method, scale is efficiently prevented. |
