The biopsy forceps are of the type comprising two spoons or jaws each articulated on a control link rod at one end of a sheath, the said link rods being articulated on a piece integral with a cable sliding in the said sheath under the action of a handle sliding in the opposite end of the said sheath, a fixation needle being lodged between the spoons or jaws. The biopsy forceps according to the invention are characterised by the fact that the said link rods (9, 10) are articulated on the said needle (5) and the jaws (3, 4) are articulated on a fixed pin (7) on which there slides a longitudinal slot (8) of the said needle (5).
