PRODUCTION OF SURFACE-PROTECTED METHACRYL RESIN PLATE

PURPOSE:To obtain the titled surface-protected resin plate capable of giving a rigid plastic material having excellent transparency and workability, by laminating a fluorine resin film to a methacryl resin plate via a modified chlorinated polyolefin resin adhesive layer. CONSTITUTION:A methacryl resin plate is applied with an adhesive layer composed of a modified chlorinated polyolefin resin, preferably epoxy-modified chlorinated polypropylene. A fluorine resin film (e.g. tetrafluoroethylene- hexafluoropropylene copolymer resin) is pressed to the adhesive layer and bonded to the methacryl resin plate to obtain the objective surface-protected methacryl resin plate.
