PURPOSE:To provide an ink jet nozzle having no damp with ink liquid, corrosion resistance, good workability and working accuracy by coating the end of the metal nozzle with a thin aluminum nitride film. CONSTITUTION:A thin aluminum nitride film 6 is coated by reactive magnetron sputtering on the end 5 of an ink nozzle 4 in which a conical ink liquid guide hole 2 and an ink liquid injecting hole 3 continued to the hole 2 are opened at a disclike ink nozzle plate 1 made, for example, of a stainless steel. Such a nozzle is improved in the mirror-smoothness of the end 5 to prevent it from damping with ink liquid, and to guide linearly the injected ink liquid by an ink guiding unit around the end of the injecting hole, thereby enhancing the accuracy of the ink point adhering size and position to be printed at the prescribed position on the sheet. |
