PURPOSE:To avert sagging and dropping of a UV-curing resin and sheath material by bringing UV lamps near to the material to thoroughly cure the material during the stoppage of an apparatus for production in the stage of winding plural pieces of optical fibers on a tensile body, enclosing the fibers with the UV-curing resin and sheath material and curing the resin and material by the UV ray lamps respectively provided thereto. CONSTITUTION:The tensile body 1 which is a stainless steel wire or the like wound on a delivery machine 6 is drawn out and the optical fibers 2 from plural supply bobbings 7 are wound on the surface thereof. The UV-curing resin for a cushion layer from the 1st supply device 9 is penetrated into such assemblage, then the resin from the 2nd supply device 10 is coated to the surface before the assemblage is passed into a drawing mouthpiece 8. These resins are thereafter cured by the UV ray lamps 12 and before the assemblage is passed through the next drawing mouthpiece 14, the unit sheath material from a supply device 13 is similarly put on the resin and is also cured by the UV ray lamp 15. The lamps 12 and 15 are immediately moved to the mouthpieces 11 and 14 to cure the uncured resins and sheath when the device stops in the above-mentioned constitution.
