A system for selecting the highest of a number of varying direct voltages comprises: a ring counter Z sequentially operating relay contacts a 1 b 1 .... a n b n to connect each source Th 1 .... Th n in turn to charge a storage capacitor C 1 through a diode D; a first monostable circuit K 1 operated at the end of a counting cycle to connect the storage capacitor C 1 to a second capacitor C 2 to transfer the stored voltage to an indicator A; and a second monostable circuit K 2 operated after the first, to discharge capacitor C 1 through a resistor R 4 . The threshold voltage of the diode D is compensated for by means of a bias circuit U H1 R 3 , and the system may include amplifiers V 1 , V 2 .</p> |
