This device is used for converting image areas into electrical signals and consists of a light transmitter introducing a focused light beam into optical waveguides carried to the image, in which the entry faces of the optical waveguides are arranged in a circle, at the centre of which a rotating mirror is arranged to rotate, in the axis of rotation of which the light beam of a light source extends and, in the case of the linear scanning, of a light pick-up and its optical waveguides carried from the image to a device converting light pulses into electrical signals, the image-side ends of which device are arranged directly next to the image-side ends of the optical waveguide fibres coming from the light transmitter. It is the object of the invention to achieve a particularly simple possibility for constructing a device for punctual illumination of image areas, in which control functions can also be derived for the rotor carrying the rotating mirror and for subsequent circuits and devices from one and the same rotating light spot. The invention consists in that the optical waveguide fibres (3) of the light transmitter are arranged section-by-section in parallel in a row next to one another in the form of flat bands (12), that the end parts of these bands (12) are arranged radially in the light transmitter and that a device for timing the entry of the light into particular optical waveguide fibres (17) is provided. |
