PURPOSE:To prevent an image from the generation of uneven density by matching the oscillation wavelength of plural laser emitting elements in an image recording device using plural laser beams. CONSTITUTION:A light source unit in the image recording device has laser diodes 8, 9 and emitted laser beams L1, L2 are partially reflected by half mirrors 15, 16 and oscillation wavelength detectors 17, 18 detect the oscillation wavelength of the laser diodes 8, 9 and send detecting signals to a controller 10. The controller 10 generates/absorbs heat from/into Peltier elements 13, 14 in accordance with shear from the prescribed oscillation wavelength to set up the oscillation wavelength of the diodes 8, 9 to the same value. The temperature of the diodes 8, 9 are detected by thermistors 11, 12 as the values corresponding to the oscillation wavelength levels to confirm the effect of cooling or heating.
