PURPOSE:To utilize the feature of digital exchange and to reduce the quantity of cable by dividing a line circuit and a trunk circuit into small blocks and packaging them to separate frames and connecting them while extending the distance of digital transmission of a time division switch in control blocks. CONSTITUTION:A decentralized digital private branch exchange device is divided into the first block SB1 including a line circuit LC, a speech control circuit SPC, etc., the second block SBM2 including various trunk circuits TRK, SPC, etc., and the third block MB3 including a memory section MEM, a time division switch TDSW, etc. Small blocks of circuits LC, SPC, TRK, MEM, etc., are packaged to each of the first-third blocks SB1-MB3. Plural the first and third blocks 11-1m, 21-2n are connected to the third block 3 by time division digital circuits 41-4m, 51-5n. Thus, the feature of digital exchange is fully utilized and the quantity of cable is reduced.
