<p>PURPOSE:To enable a single operator to mount a brake shoe and preclude hazard at the time of removing the same by furnishing a brakeshoe head with a metal fitting coupled with a long groove using a pin in such a way as rotatable and movable in the longitudinal direction of a dovetail groove. CONSTITUTION:To mount a brakeshoe 23 on a brakeshoe head 22, a metal fitting 31 is dangled along a long groove and turned round a pin, and the open end 22d of a dovetail groove 22b of brakeshoe head 22 is opened, wherein a dovetail of a backing plate 25 of the brakeshoe 23 is fitted in this dovetail groove 22b. The metal fitting 31 is rotated for return to the open end 22d of the dovetail groove, lifted to intrude the brakeshoe fully in the brakeshoe head 22, and is fixed to the brakeshoe head 22 with a bolt 32. To remove the brakeshoe from the brakeshoe head 22, the bolt 32 is drawn out and the metal fitting 31 is dangled along the longitudinal groove followed by rotation. The open end of the dovetail groove of the brakeshoe head 22 is opened, and the brakeshoe is removed from the brakeshoe head 22.</p> |
