摘要 PURPOSE:To execute a response at a high speed by setting the first phase and the last phase to the opposite polarity to each other, in three phases which are used for write to a picture element on a scan electrode line. CONSTITUTION:An electric signal applied to a selected signal electrode is the inverse of V0 in a phase t1, V0 in a phase t2, and V0 in a phase t3, as well. Also, an electric signal which is applied to an unselected signal electrode is the inverse of V0 in the phase t1, the inverse of V0 in the phase t2, as well, and V0 in the phase T3. In this state, when a threshold voltage in an applied time DELTAt for giving the first stable stage (it is denoted as white) is set as the inverse of Vth1, and a threshold voltage in an applied time DELTAt for giving the second stable state (it is denoted black) is set as Vth2, the voltage value V0 is set to a desired value for satisfying V0<Vth2<3V0, and the inverse of V0> the inverse of Vth1> the inverse of 3V0.
