PURPOSE:To increase volumetric efficiency and to reduce variance in air-fuel ratio by arranging two inlets for introducing air in positions to cause collision and interference between the air introduced into a casing. CONSTITUTION:Corresponding to the opening of a throttle valve 21 due to the operation of an internal-combustion engine 1, air is sucked through an air cleaner 4 and fuel is drawn in from a carburetor 3, and they are mixed in a suction pipe 2, to be drawn into a combustion chamber. While the air cleaner 4 is provided at its casing 41 with two inlets 42 and 43 to oppose each other and air flows through an air cleaner element 44 to flow out of an outlet 45, since the flows of air sucked interferes with each other in the casing 41, effects of lengths of air suction paths can be eliminated. Also, since air from the two inlets mixes well, variance in the air-fuel ratio becomes smaller.
