PURPOSE:To quickly increase the fuel feed quantity in response to a change of the air flow or rotating speed and secure a safety operation by increasing the sensor output detecting the intake air quantity or rotating speed by a predetermined value when an increase of the engine load is detected. CONSTITUTION:An intake quantity detecting means (a) detecting the intake air quantity of an engine, a rotating speed detecting means (b) detecting the rotating speed of the engine and an operation condition detecting means (c) detecting the operation condition of the engine are provided. When an increase of the engine load is detected by this operation condition detecting means (c), for example, at least one of detection values of the intake air quantity or rotating speed is increased by a detection value correcting means (d) by a predetermined value. The fuel feed quantity is calculated by a feed quantity calculating means (e) in response to the intake air quantity and rotating speed after correction, and a fuel feeding means (f) is controlled based on the calculated result.
