PURPOSE:To provide a primer which facilitates coating and printing on highly crystallized resins, containing an organometallic compd. and a specified fluorine compd. as active ingredients. CONSTITUTION:0.001-10wt%, pref. 0.001-1wt% (based on the amount of primer) organometallic compd. (A) which is a compd. wherein metal is attached to an org. group (e.g., acetylacetonezirconium) is mixed with a fluorine compd. of the formula [wherein R1, R2, R3 and R4 are each a 1-4C fluorinated alkyl; R is (hydroxy)phenylene, (di)methylphenylene or naphthylene] [e.g., 1,3-bis(2- hydroxyhexafluoroisopropyl)benzene]. If desired, an org. solvent and an org. polymer are added thereto to obtain a primer. The primer is applied to resins, particularly highly crystallized resin (e.g., polyethylene terephthalate) in a coating weight of 0.001-1g/m<2>, pref. 0.01-0.1g/m<2>.
