PURPOSE:To prevent the propagation of bacteria, by receiving a water purifying pack, wherein a substance having water purifying capacity is wrapped in a water pervious film like substance, in a hollow part and forming a hollow container capable of being taken in and out. CONSTITUTION:Holes 2, 3 are provided to a container 1 having a hollow interior and water to be purified is introduced into the container 1 from the hole 2 while purified water is issued from the hole 3. An entrance and exit 4 capable of taking in and out a pack is provided to the container 1. The pack is formed by wrapping activated carbon or an ion exchange resin in a water pervious film like substance and received in the container 1 from the entrance and exit 4 or taken out therefrom through said entrance and exit 4. By this constitution, the propagation of bacteria in a water purifier can be prevented by a simple method.
