PURPOSE:To stabilize the attraction force of a suction belt by furnishing a small-width flexible seal, which encloses the periphery of the opening of each recess, protruded at the external surface of an endless belt, and thereby ensuring vacuum holding in each recess. CONSTITUTION:When air is exhausted from recesses 13 one after another to make them vacuum, the external surface of an endless belt 14 acts as suction cups with respect to wall surfaces to be attracted thereto. At this time, the periphery of the opening of each recess 13 is surrounded by a seal 16 formed protruding, which has a small width and is made of a flexible material with resilience so as to ensure close contact with the wall surface while making follow-up deformation in response to the rough surface configuration, whereby leakage is prevented and the attraction force stabilized. Pins 22 at the periphery of a rotor 12 are fitted in communication holes 15 in recess 13, so that the torque is transmitted certainly.
