PURPOSE:To provide the titled compsn. having excellent flow characteristics, gloss, resistance to impact and heat, etc., by blending a resin compsn. consisting of a polyphenylene ether, an arom. alkenyl polymer and a rubber component with PE having a specified melt flow ratio. CONSTITUTION:A polyphenylene (A) having a structural unit of formula I [wherein R1, R2, R3 and R4 are each H, halogen or a (substd.) hydrocarbon(oxy) group; and (n) is not smaller than 50] is blended with an arom. alkenyl polymer (b) of formula II (wherein R5, R6, R7, R8 and R9 are each R1; and R10 is H or a 1-4C lower alkyl) and not more than 20pts.wt. [per 100pts.wt. of the combined amount of the components (a) and (b)] rubber component (c) such as natural rubber, polybutadiene rubber, etc., in such a proportion as the satisfy the relationships of a/a+b>=0.2 and c/c+b<=0.2 by weight to obtain a resin compsn. (A). 100pts.wt. component A is blended with 0.3-10pts.wt. PE (B) having a melt flow ratio (represented by the formula III) of 10 or below, a density of not higher than 0.940g/cm<3> and an MFR of 0.1-100g/10min. |
