PURPOSE:To reduce numerical data inputted on a keyboard by inspecting parts on a board to be inspected based on the reference board information read out of a dictionary part and information to be inspected which is obtained by picking up the image of the board to be inspected. CONSTITUTION:A control part 28 reads out reference data obtained from respective parts 19-1-19-n on a reference printed board 16-1 to generate the reference board information, which is stored in a memory 24. Then, the control part 28 transfers the reference board information stored in the memory 24 to a decision part 25 in inspection mode. The control part 38 generates image data to be inspected from the image signal of the printed board 16-2 to be inspected which is obtained through a TV camera 20 and transfers it to an image processing part 23. Then, the processing part 23 extracts parameters of the respective parts 19-1-19-n to be inspected and supplied them to the control part 28. The control part 28 puts those parameters to be inspected together to form an inspected parameter file, which is sent to the decision part 25. The decision part 25 compares it with the reference board information to inspect the positions and kinds of the parts 19-1-19-n on the board 16-2. |
