HEAT-RESISTANT, OIL-RESISTANT RUBBER COMPOSITION

PURPOSE:A composition suitable as wire coating materials and parts at surroundings of automobile engine used in a high-temperature atmosphere exposed to oil, having improved oil resistance, obtained by blending EPM and/or EPDM with fluororubber and/or hydrogenated acrylonitrile rubber. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. (A) ethylene-propylene copolymer and/or (B) ethylene- propylene-diene copolymer is blended with 10-100pts.wt., especially 20-80pts.wt. (C) fluororubber and/or (D) hydrogenated acrylonitrile rubber. A tetra fluoroethylene propylene copolymer having 30-150 Mooney viscosity at 100 deg.C is preferable as the component C.
