PURPOSE:To prevent a drop of the use frequency of a channel by constituting the titled channel so that a call used as a call of a bit width variable multiple speed can be exchanged and connected by using in parallel plural time switch modules to which plural channels are connected semi-fixedly through HGSP. CONSTITUTION:In a time division channel, a line operation unit serial/parallel converting circuit (up HGSP), and a line operation unit parallel/serial converting circuit (down HGSP) are inserted between a serial/parallel converting circuit 1 and an up-T switch module 2, and between a down-T switch module 4 and a parallel/serial converting circuit 5, respectively. As for a multiple call for using N pieces of channels, an address of N pieces each of up and down T switch modules is set as one address of one virtual T switch module having a word length of N times, and operated by setting N pieces of S switch intersections between N pieces of up-T switch modules and N pieces of down-T switch modules in a time slot, as one intersection of a virtual S switch having a word length of N times and a lattice size of 1/N<2>.
