PURPOSE:To prevent discharge due to a charge-up as well as to get rid of a warp attributable to welding distortion, by making divided horizontal deflecting electrodes overlap with one another, and pressing and clamping each exposed part of respective insulating substrates with a bonding agent via a spacer member. CONSTITUTION:A first horizontal deflecting electrode (DH-1) 109 and a third horizontal deflecting electrode (DH-3) 111 are formed in both end positions on each surface at both sides of an insulating plate 119 by means of metalizing, plating, etc., and they are separated from each other. A second horizontal deflection electrode (DH-2) 110 is formed on the surface of an insulating plate 120 in a film form covering it by means of metalizing, plating, etc. In this (DH-2) 110, its metallic surface is formed up to the backside to be opposed to these (DH-1) 109 - (DH-3) 111. And, at this backside central part, the surface of the insulating plate 120 is exposed as corresponding to the insulating plate 119 to be exposed. In addition, using a bonding agent 122, these insulating plates 119 and 120 and a spacer member 121 are all joined together and clamped in adhesion.
