Cladding element which is intended for a roof valley and comprises two part-elements (1, 2) which are in the form of plates and are combined in the roof valley, on a common longitudinal edge (3), such that they can move at an angle with respect to each other in the manner of a hinge. Each part-element (1, 2) is formed, in the region of this valley, with a discharge channel. Each part-element (1, 2) furthermore exhibits, on the common longitudinal edge (3), border profiles (4, 5) which are bent upwards from the roof valley and together form a tubular duct (7) located in the roof-valley angle (6). One of the part-elements (1) is rolled up inwards to produce a border profile (4) in the form of a part-circle and is provided at one end with a web (10). The other part-element (2) exhibits a border profile (5) which is initially bent upwards at right angles from the roof-valley-angle leg (9) and is rolled up at the end, likewise turning to the right, to produce a full circle. It is dimensioned such that it can be pushed over the profile (4) of the first part-element (1). <IMAGE>
