There is provided a radiation image storage panel comprising a substrate with provided thereon a fluorescent layer consisting essentially of a binder and a stimulable phosphor dispersed therein. The binder comprises linear polyester resin, optionally crosslinked with a crosslinking agent, and preferably nitrocellulose. The panel exhibits improved physical properties, in particular improved flexing resistance, strength of adhesion of fluorescent layer to substrate, and resistance to yellowing on prolonged exposure to stimulating and erasing radiation. |
