PURPOSE:To incorporate a corresponding assembler source and to generate a communication control program by fixing a basic constitution section so as to define the state, the event generating content and a communication control operation corresponding to them. CONSTITUTION:A state transition table pattern and a processing table pattern are provided as a pattern editor applying formal description of a protocol and the translator incorporating the patterns and the assembler source library of a basic communication control program is provided. The state transition table pattern defines the number of the processing table in each state, the assembler source of an event discrimination section 5 and the state discrimination section of the communication control program are incorporated from the basic communi cation control program assembler source library based thereupon, the processing table pattern defines the communication control operation and the assembler source of the communication control section of the communication control program is incorporated from the basic communication control program assem bler source library based thereupon. Thus, the assembler source with less redun dancy is generated and the communication control program is generated with high efficiency.
