PURPOSE:To better the operability and the characteristic at brazing time by using the ceramic sintered body having the specified porosity to a brazing jig. CONSTITUTION:The brazing jig uses the ceramic sintered body having 10-50% porosity. For this ceramic body, either ceramic sintered body of a silicon nitride, silicon carbide or boron nitride is used. The heat becomes difficult to be absorbed to the brazing jig at brazing time by improving the heat insulation by letting a pore exist on the ceramic sintered body. More heats are therefore transmitted to the solder, which becomes easy to melt and a good brazing state is obtd. The cooling speed is reduced on the substance to be joined at the cooling stage and an abrupt thermal contraction can be avoided.
