PURPOSE:To substantially incrase the number of registration data to a memory without increasing an existing memory capacity by connecting plural facsimile equipments by a data line and writing data in a memory of other facsimile equipment when the memory of one facsimile equipment is occupied. CONSTITUTION: A data line 6 is connected to a data bus 17 connecting a memory 13 and a main control circuit 12 of the facsimile equipment 1, and the data line 6 is connected to a data bus 57 connecting the main control circuit 52 of the facsimile equipment 5 and memory 53. When a telephone number data is inputted from a panel 11 of the facsimile equiment 1, the main control circuit 12 stores it in the memory 13. When the memory 13 is occupied on its way and the main control circuit 12 inquires about the main control circuit 52 of the facsimile equipment 5 as to whether or not the memory 53 is idle via the data line 6, and when the memory is idle, the remaining telephone number data are stored in the memory 53 via the data line 6.
