PURPOSE:To finely adjust the height of a wheel shaft by inserting a fixed bearing in a rectangular fixed hole and by driving a wedge type liner. CONSTITUTION:An electric apparatus 1 is on rails 4, 4' supported by a wheel unit 8. The shaft 18 of the unit 8 is lifted up by a wedge type liner 10 and a block 9 and is separated from the rails. A wheel frame 17 has a hole 20 for attaching a rectangular fixed bearing 11 of required dimensions. A thick wedge type liner 12 in the upper side and a thin wedge type liner 13 in the lower side are inserted in a gap between the hole 20 and the bearing 11 in the direction of the height and are pressed by members 14, 15. In this structure, the height of the shaft 18 can be changed by the difference of the thicknesses of the liners 12, 13. If the wheel unit wherein the height of the shaft can be adjusted and the wedge type liner are combined, the direction of the wheel can be changed or the height of the shaft can be finely adjusted safely and easily on the rail without using a jack.
